A Name in Bronze Lasts for Generations
Bronze memorial plaques are among the most dignified, enduring ways to honor a loved one. Cast and finished right here at our Natick workshop — with every letter, every detail, exactly as it should be.
Craftsmanship
Bronze Doesn't Just Mark a Place — It Declares a Presence
When other materials fade, discolor, or weather away, bronze endures. The warm luster of a well-cast bronze plaque is unmistakable — a sign that someone took the time to get it right, that the person being remembered deserved nothing less.
Bronze memorial plaques have been used for centuries for exactly this reason: they hold their form, their finish, and their dignity through decades of New England seasons. When families from Natick and across Metrowest Boston come to us asking how to make a memorial that will truly last, bronze is often the answer.
At Natick Memorial Works, all our bronze work is cast and finished on-site. You can see it before it leaves our hands — and be certain every detail is exactly right.
Every Type of Bronze Memorial Plaque
From grave markers to commemorative installations, we craft bronze plaques for every purpose — each one designed around the specific person or place being honored.
Grave Marker Plaques
Flat bronze markers set flush with the ground — a traditional, dignified option for many cemeteries. Includes name, dates, and any inscription or emblem you choose.
Bronze on Granite
A bronze plaque mounted to a granite base creates a striking, elevated memorial. The contrast of warm bronze against natural stone is one of the most visually striking options available.
Commemorative Plaques
For buildings, benches, gardens, and other lasting installations. Whether honoring a person, a group, or a place, a commemorative bronze plaque creates a permanent record of what mattered.

Common Questions About Bronze Memorial Plaques
The answers families ask us most often before starting a bronze plaque project.
How long does a bronze memorial plaque last?
Properly cast and finished bronze memorial plaques can last well over 100 years — even through harsh New England winters, freeze-thaw cycles, and decades of exposure. Bronze naturally develops a rich patina over time that many families find even more beautiful than the original finish.
What information can be included on a bronze plaque?
A bronze plaque can include virtually any text: full name, birth and death dates, a meaningful inscription or verse, military service designation, religious symbols, fraternal organization emblems, a portrait medallion, floral or nature reliefs, and custom artwork. During your consultation, we'll show you examples of each option.
What does a bronze memorial plaque cost?
Bronze plaque pricing depends on size, finish, design complexity, and any custom artwork or emblems included. We believe in transparency — no hidden fees, and no pressure to choose something outside your budget. We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Personal Check. Please call us at (508) 653-4860 or come in to discuss what's right for your situation.
Do you handle installation, or do we need to arrange that separately?
We handle all installation coordination. For cemetery plaques, we contact the cemetery directly to confirm requirements, schedule placement, and manage the full installation process. You don't have to manage these logistics while you're grieving — that's our job.
Can we see the plaque before it's installed?
Yes — and we encourage it. Because all our bronze work is done on-site here in Natick, you can come in and see the finished plaque before it leaves our workshop. You'll also review a detailed proof of the design before casting begins, so there are two separate checkpoints to ensure everything is exactly right.
My loved one already has a granite headstone — can a bronze plaque be added?
In many cases, yes. Bronze plaques can be mounted to existing granite monuments or bases, or a new granite base can be created to complement an existing memorial. Come in and describe the situation — we'll advise you on what's possible and what would look right.
Do you create bronze plaques for non-cemetery memorials?
Yes. We create commemorative bronze plaques for a wide range of applications — church and school building dedications, garden memorials, bench dedications, town and civic installations, and more. If you're honoring someone or something with a permanent bronze record, we can help you create it.
